Charles La Bella and Thomas McNamara have been appointed receivers by State and Federal courts throughout the country. Mr. La Bella was appointed to act as receiver by the United States District Court for the Southern District of California in an action brought by the Security and Exchange Commission against PinnFund USA, Inc. PinnFund involved a $300 million investment fraud scheme. Mr. La Bella also has been appointed by California courts in actions brought by the California Department of Corporations. Mr. McNamara was appointed receiver by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York in an action brought by the SEC against Millennium Financial, Ltd., which involved a $20 million investment fraud scheme.
