Ms. Clement joined La Bella & McNamara in the fall of 2009 as a staff attorney. In recent projects, she has analyzed discovery, pleadings, depositions and trial transcripts in preparation for complex civil actions. Ms. Clement is admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court for the Southern District Court of California.

Ms. Clement received her J.D. in 2009 from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was an executive member of the San Diego Moot Court Board and represented the USD Moot Court program on a national level. Ms. Clement was awarded “Best Appellate Brief” in Lawyering Skills and selected to write the problem for USD’s intramural Jessup International Law Tournament.

While in law school, Ms. Clement also worked as a law clerk with District Attorneys’ Offices in San Diego and Orange County. As a certified law clerk, she prepared and argued motions, conducted preliminary hearings and prosecuted two bench trials. During the summer of 2008, Ms. Clement participated in the Orange County Law Clerk Advocacy Competition and was awarded first runner-up.

Prior to law school, Ms. Clement worked for Turner Broadcasting at the CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Clement graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego in 2004 with a B.A. in English and Political Science.
